I'll be the first to admit that there was a brief time in which I was considering returning my m22's. Thanks to Sushi for telling me not to send them back. Since the new carpet was installed and I repositioned them they sound sensational. One word of advice I might give to those thinking of returning them or are on the fence due to reports of harshness, etc. give them 40 days, not 30. By then you hearing will have adjusted to them and the rest is audio nirvana.

Um??? Did I ever tell you not to return the M22s (if so, which thread was it in)? Or was it one of my responses to someone else?

Anyway, glad to hear that you like them much!

I stand corrected. You said not to "sell" them.

LOL (but seriously, where did I say that? -- you piqued my curiosity and I cannot find my own post containing the remark...)

You told me not to sell mine.

But I HAD to! If I hadn't I wouldn't own the M60's now. I miss the M22's, and could have used them in my game room, but honestly it was worth the upgrade. My M60's bring a smile to my face on a daily basis. I keep discovering more and more cd's that just sound so incredible on them. The latest find...Dave Matthews "Crash".

On the flip side of that, I keep finding cd's that sound horrible as well. *sigh* Sarah McLachlin's 'surfacing' cd sounded pretty awful last night. Damn those cd's engineers making "hot" pop cd's!

Okay, okay, Craig... you HAD to... okay, okay...

Did you REALLY sell the M22s, btw???

In reply to:

You are just finding that now?? We played that when I was there comparing the M60's to the Veritas 2.2's!

And that Sarah McLachlin disc sounds pretty bad with the ELT's I have right now. But not with my Ascends.

About the Surfacing CD: It may be mastered hot, but Black & White (track 8) is a good subwoofer demo track.

It's the latest "find", not necessarily the latest thing I've listened to.
