It seems Axiom is the last of the holdouts on the Canadian / US exchange rate. For the past couple of years we've been pegged at an exchange rate of $1.12 to the USD, which as many of you know is nowhere near the current actual exchange rate of $1.33.

Starting April 5th 2017, we will adjust the conversion to $1.22 site-wide. Dust off your wishlist and take advantage of the current prices before they're gone!

To be honest, if the price increase didn't take place on April 5, I probably would have waited to "pull the trigger"... and by that I mean I likely wouldn't have done it until XMas 2017!

However, when I clicked "place order" on April 4, I was surprised at how glad I was to do it. I had been eyeing Axiom speakers for almost 10 years (yes, TEN years!) but never took the plunge as I didn't see the need to upgrade just yet. I finally caved in when I exceeded the HDMI inputs on my TV (3) and my 2002 era AVR starting developing sub-out issues. I upgraded the AVR to an Onkyo TX-NR656 which was a huge shot of adrenalin to my upgradeitis addiction.

At first I was just going to do the fronts but I found myself ordering the whole 5.1 package. Can't wait to receive Axioms' M22 and VP160 on-wall speakers and a set of QS-4's and EP175 sub!

Hopefully there aren't 100's like me who pulled the trigger on April 4-5 and my order will be fulfilled soon!

Thanks. I drive down HWY60 twice a year on my way to Huntsville and never thought once to look for Axiom Audio. Wonder how hard they are to find and if factory visits are happily granted? :-)

The factory is right on the north side of Hwy 60 in Dwight. Contact them before you go for authorization for a visit.

Thanks, just found them on Google maps. Can't tell you how many times I've driven by, even eaten at the Cookhouse next door, and never noticed them! Guess the small brown on brown sign doesn't jump out! Going back to the region in July, will definitely try to arrange a visit (assuming I love and keep what I've just ordered of course ;-p )

When you get the speakers. you might be kicking yourself again and again for not upgrading to better speakers sooner. Congrats.
