amie, in addition to your gift certificate program, have you considered a lay-away program? when tucking away a $20.00 bill at home, something always comes up where that $20.00 bill disappears. so, if we could sent cash?? on account specifying a wish list, could you guys handle that? you would have the use of our funds, and if sales were lagging, you might also be tempted to contact us with a special offer, realizing a sale with a smaller margin is better that a full profit margin non-sale.

To me, from our standpoint it sounds great but to be honest i dont think axiom wants to act sortof like a big piggy bank for a bunch of people keeping track of their money, especially when they wont be getting anything out of it. Why not just open a bank account?

Ouch!

But I agree. At least in a bank account (get one without ATM or checking), YOU get to earn interest.

Wow... 1% on $20. Not really an incentive to open an account.

I like the Axiom layaway plan idea. Though I agree, it would be a pain in the butt for Axiom. I don't think they'd want to accept cash either. It would have to be electronic transfers. (i.e. Paypal)

This has become an increasingly popular question in emails, so here it is (and under the FAQ for future reference.)

Do you have a LayAway Plan?

Lay Away Plans are perfect for those that want to spread their payments out over a 2-12 month period. Lay Away is an advantage if you like to plan ahead and then budget your payments without the interest charges of credit cards. To use the Lay Away Plan, your Order must total $300.00 or more.

Terms

1. Payments may be made over a 2 to 12 month period. Lay Away payments are limited to pre authorized credit cards and the payments will be taken out automatically on the schedule that is agreed on.
2. A minimum 10% down is due at time of Order Confirmation
4. If you cancel your Order once you have begun making payments, you will receive an Axiom store credit for the money paid.
5. To use the Lay Away Plan, ask the phone support staff at 1-866-294-6688 about Lay Away as your Payment Option at the time of your Order. You will be contacted by e-mail to finalize the method of payment and the number of months you wish to spread your payments over. In the additional information box, specify the number of months you want the payment spread over.
6. Your Order is shipped upon completion of the Payment Plan.

Oh that is wayyy too good.
I have a brother and a friend both looking for either surrounds or main speakers and both have been waffling b/c of the immediate overall cost.
However with this in place....

Is there still a bonus for referrals?
I could really use the extra cash. We are trying to stock up on biodegradable diapers. Anyone in Canada know of a good source?
Hmm, i guess that is another thread.

Thanks Ford. That's excellent.
I don't think my wife had come across that site yet.

OK, really, really stupid question. (I'm young, forgive me!) When do you get the speakers if you use the layaway plan?

6. Your Order is shipped upon completion of the Payment Plan.

When they get ALL your $$, YOU get the speakers

Excuse my complete and total stupidity. I shouldn't read that stuff at midnight and then write about it 12 hours later.

Another person risking to sound stupid here...
Does a credit/debit card count? I use it for all credit purchases, however in some instances I have noticed a "true" credit only card is required... My card is a Visa Check Card. THANKS IN ADVANCE!

I hope this is the first, only, and last time Axiom is ever compared to Kmart.
