I was curious if anyone went to CES this past week?

I would have loved to go but unfortunately I am in the middle of school. I can not imagine how much fun it would be to go there.

I heard Axiom was there, any new announcements?

some of the axiomites went, but i dont think they were there with a room or booth or anything.

Yep, I was there for four days. The show is huge and exhausting to try and see it all, but there were some dazzling new technologies on display. I'll detail more of my impressions in the next Axiom AudioFile newsletter, a roundup of my impressions.

No, Axiom wasn't showing (we don't go into trade shows because we don't have a dealer network and it's very expensive to exhibit at CES). I didn't hear any speakers that I felt were superior to the best from Axiom--I heard lots that were quite inferior and ludicrously priced-- and any I heard that matched Axiom were 1) Canadian and 2) much more costly.

Ahhh..Its so satisfying to hear that. And to think I bought my Axioms unheard and took the risk of being unable to return them in case..
