I played in my club's year end tennis tournament this weekend, and won my division singles title! Final score, 7-5, 4-6, 6-4. Being a "doubles specialist" this is quite a treat!

Congrats spiff - exciting stuff. I had a similar experience in my flight of the Senior Club Championship at my club (golf) 2 years ago. Not as easy as you victory. I had a seven hole playoff with a cadaver and a blind nun. That nun could PUTT!

My league has divisions from H through Open. I won the division "E". That should bump me up to the "D" division for next season.

John, based on my skill level, I also gesture with my right hand on virtually every shot. I don't believe that will pave the way to heaven for me. Actually, my problems on the course are mainly caused by excessive loft - Lack Of Freakin' Talent

I've been known to make some hand jestures and call out the lords name myself...but likewise I don't think what I'm jesturing and saying is going to get me anywhere good in the end.
