Well, I've done all I can with my Marantz 2220B, and it's still in bad shape. In fact, in some ways, it's probably worse now... I replaced the lamps, and sprayed out the innards with isopropyl alcohol, as recommended by one of you guys, and it's still cutting out on one or both channels. Also, the mono button gets stuck in, now. In any case, I figured I'd hand it over to a pro. Anyone tried http://www.vintageelectronics.cc? It looks like an upstanding joint, but one never knows. I've tried to get in contact with my local stereo repair place, but they're generally useless and don't return phone calls. Grr. But if anyone knows of a good shop in the San Francisco Bay Area, that would be great, too.

BTW, I've got a semi-working Toshiba SR775 receiver from the late 70s/early 80s that I want to get rid of. Anyone interested?

Ah. Never mind that one, then... Boy, fell into my own pet peeve...

Anyway, the right one is http://www.vintage-electronics.cc.
