Anybody ever take a law enforcement psych test. I did, took hours, hundreds and hundreds of questions about how many poops you take, how many pillows you use, other bizarre stuff.

Whoa, that's bizarre. I guess they want to know how long you can stay in a squad car or something.

naw, i poke fun.. funny story.. one of my friends from junior high and high school was just elected our new police chief a few months ago. the youngest police chief in the history of our city.. anyway, i went to his celebration rally to congratulate him, and was joking around with him.. i told him his first ordr of business should be to get a good donut shop in our town.. he laughed, and said at least then he would know where to find all the officers..

BTW- we have horrible donuts in my town.. no dunkin donuts, no wenchels, no krispy kreme, no nothing.. we have a small mom and pops place that is sort of OK, but their kitchen is so small, they run out of donuts by 8 or 9. i need to go on a mission.

ISTJ - didn't take it now but that's what I was the last two times I took it. my ex was big into that stuff - finding out what MBTI people were and what occupations they would be good at.

Actually, I tend to flip back and forth between INTJ and INTP on these tests, always just being slightly one or the other.

Seriously, though, totally weird how similar most of the results thus far have been.

what is surprising me is all the I's.. introverted?? i have been the only extroverted thus far??

Definitely something strange here if INTJ is only supposed to make up 1% of the population. This board is very skewed so far.

I'm not sure it has anything to do with people who post on boards, as this is one of the few I have ever posted on. Perhaps the interest in audio has more going for it.

Maybe INTJs are more likely to take tests posted on web forums... but that's probably too complex.

There might be something to that. Certainly scoring high on judging has to be linked to this whole audio thing.

I have to go back and look at some of the work by Ayn Rand. I remember she was a really smart person, but I vaguely recall she has some far out ideas. I think I have a copy of Atlas Shrugged somewhere buried in the boxes of books in my basement.

Really cool quiz - the analyses were interesting, if not spot on correct.

Just a note on the introverted/extroverted thing - it's not really a measure of whether you are in introvert or an extrovert, it's where you get your energy. Some people need alone time to reenergize, others need to be around people.

Interesting. I've always said that some people are "in HERE" people, and some are "out THERE" people. What I mean by that is that some people seek happiness; life's answers and solutions within themselves, and some seek happiness; the answers and solutions, out there among others. I happen to be an "in here" person. (Good thing, since I've been in this apartment 4 years running, now. )

My wife scored a ISFJ. 78% on the introvert thing - no wonder she always says, "Leave me alone."

What a trip...Add me to the INTJ list. As generally a small percentage of the population, ya have to ask - mere coincidence ? I'll have to sit by myself, think about it, and finally make a judgement.

I only remember the first number, 11%, and the last, 67%. The other two were somewhere between that.

I wouldn't worry about the numbers, Spiff. If you were to take them quite literally it would mean you're barely thinking and barely able to make a judgement. You know that ain't true.

I do get some positives, though.


INTPs value knowledge above all else. Their minds are constantly working to generate new theories, or to prove or disprove existing theories.

They're usually extremely bright, and able to be objectively critical in their analysis. They love new ideas, and become very excited over abstractions and theories.

They see everything in terms of how it could be improved, or what it could be turned into. They live primarily inside their own minds, having the ability to analyze difficult problems, identify patterns, and come up with logical explanations. They seek clarity in everything, and are therefore driven to build knowledge.

Good and bad with every one, I suppose.

Many people here are the IN** ones, which are related to being logical, critical thinkers. Must be why we don't spend $5000 on speaker wire.

Actually I was thinking everyone else (including myself) is probably too judgemental.

I've been looking around in the links for some sort of top-level map of the personalities..like what types are opposite of and adjacent to each other. Also, curious if anyone has found a key on how to read the scores (like what does a score of 1 mean)? I hope it doesn't mean what I think it does. A score of 1 on thinking? I know I'm better than that, whatever that might be!

They mean that you were very close to the cusp between thinking/feeling. The higher the score, the stronger your attribute. For example, I'm extremeley judgemental, but I'm right in between thinking/feeling. Not a bad thing, really.

Yet another INTJ. Axiom seems to be a hot spot for us 1%'ers.

Perhaps Axioms logo should have been:
