If you've got some cool smileys post 'em here. I'm starting a collection. (Animated gifs are best!)

You can start here:

And move on to here:

You'll need to right click and "save picture as" to a folder on your computer, and then upload them to a host, just like any photo, to use them on the forum. But you can just insert them from your folder into email.

It reminds me of that McDonalds clip that was going around last year. "Ding Fries are Done". It was a Christmas office email clip all of us I.T. guys had.

In reply to:

Ding Fries are Done

Posted By: CosmicVoyager Re: OT: Smileys - 10/27/04 05:57 PM
I know it's extremely rude. I hope that it doesn't offend anyone and I’m sorry if I already did.
Posted By: spiffnme Re: OT: Smileys - 10/27/04 05:58 PM
It's damn funny.

Posted By: pmbuko Re: OT: Smileys - 10/27/04 07:05 PM

You're not trying to argue on the internet, are you?
Posted By: donaldekelly Re: OT: Smileys - 10/27/04 08:01 PM
I am not offended by the special olympics picture but I probably should be and many people will be. I wouldn't show that around too much.

btw - I work with developmentally disabled (MR) folks so I might be especially sensitvie to this.

Thanks for the option to express myself. I hope we don't get into arguing on the internet over this.

Perhaps I don't know the background behind the "Fries" song...is there more to it than someone making fun of people who work at BK? I just thought that was funny.

That special olympics picture is just wrong.

Posted By: CosmicVoyager Re: OT: Smileys - 10/27/04 08:55 PM
I'm with you here. I found it funny and I also thought the "fries" song was making fun of BK. After I pushed submit, I realized that most people might not approve of the content.
Posted By: donaldekelly Re: OT: Smileys - 10/27/04 09:05 PM
I thought the BK song was funny too. I guess it is ok to make fun of our own kind? Sometimes I feel like I am not far from the BK guy even though I am now 47 and have an advanced degree, etc. Or maybe I was once not far from that guy.

Hey I worked at McDonald's. Coming home smelling like grease sucked.

Posted By: WhatFurrer Re: OT: Smileys - 10/27/04 09:28 PM
I used to work at McDonalds' too...in fact, at one point, three members of my family worked there...but that is another story.

I would come home smelling like grease as well. I was not fond of the smell either. I would, on the other hand, get great big hugs from my brother's kids who were living with my parents and us at the time...all three would meet me at the door with a great big hug. I know these kids were not that fond of me and when asked why all the hugs, I received the response, "Because you smell like french fries..."

McDonald's marketing...I'm lovin it.

I've never worked at a fast food place, but my current boss used to work at a fish & chips place when he was in college. Imagine what HE smelled like after his shift.
