In case you can't tell, I'm a little excited after the Eagles win yesterday. I have been waiting my whole life for a trip to the Super Bowl (and hopefully a championship in Philadelphia, although the Pats will be tough I admit). I was just 6 years old and only have vague memories of the Eagles last trip to the Super Bowl. It was such a great feeling to finally see them break through yesterday.

i am not an eagles fan.... not at all.. being a cowboys fan, i grew up hating their conference rivals, which include the eagles and the skins. used to be the cardinals, but they went to a different conference.. anyway, and as if i didnt have enough reason to hate the eagles, then they had to go and get TO, the man who defaced the star in texas stadium. so, i would say as a whole, i hope they get their a$$e$ kicked. i got no love for em.

BTW- i am having a big SB party at the house.. ALL are invited. if you happen to be swinging thru san angelo, and want to see the game, come on by. gonna do ribs, grilled and stuffed jalapenos, pasta salad, queso, and all the beer and liquor you bring..!!

We're hosting a SB party, ourselves. Anyone in/passing through Brooklyn is free to join (within reason -- it is a New York apartment)! I suspect people our way will be pretty well split between the Pats and the Eagles, since both are regionally so close. But frankly, I'm not too enthused about either team.

I was tempted (it is the ideal occasion and weather to be warmed up with some chili), but nah, the sportsman in me admits that's unfair.

We're gonna have subs, beer bratwurst, buffalo wings, salad (too!), the usual assortment of snacks/dips and we'll provide the beer. Liquor is BYO. Later on, we'll have heart attacks.
