Anyone with a Mac, you have to check out these new HD clips in quicktime 7. My computer is only a G4 Powerbook, so I can't play them back smoothly, but I do get to see the incredible resolution. And man, I now want a G5 so I can watch these in perfect 1080p video. Also check out the information on the incredible new compression scheme. It is said to be the new standard for High Definition Video including the upcoming HD Disc formats.

Qucktime HD

Yeah, it's pretty awesome. If it makes you feel any better, the full HD resoluton also plays back a little choppy on Mac minis. QT 7 HD really prefers G5s with nice video cards.

Very cool. I just finished upgrading (new install actually) the OS on my ibook to tiger. Each of those is good, but I am especially excited about Serenity. I'm a big fan of the show (and Joss Weadon in general). That movie looks great!
