Never noticed it before, i was just sitting in the Whos online section ... so yeah this is a pretty useless post.
Lotta addicts!
And some of us choose not to show up there.
So true! I was wondering who would see this post while they were checking whos online and add something
I like noticing how many people like to "Check Who is Online". I think HK Ken C. from California holds the record
is he checking right now?

Whatever happened to Randyman? Havent seen him in a long time
Someday count how many names you see, then compare it to how many regestered users are online. I choose not to show on that screen for personal reasons that have nothing to do with anyone on this forum.
Thats too much effort!
I can see how it would be tonight.
FYI: As near as I can tell, there are about 7 of us who choose not to show on that screen.
"I choose not to show on that screen for personal reasons that have nothing to do with anyone on this forum."

Have you be assigned into the witness protection program or something?

I'm NOT a morning person...
Especially when you 2-4 hours behind the rest of us
Don't remind me about work. Aargh!

Man, these boards get a lot of traffic in the morning. C'mon you guys, I'm not a morning person. . .

in that case, let me tell you about how i'm currently in the 7-day-off portion of my 5-week shiftwork rotation. yeah working nights kinda sucks (especially for the wife!), but having a week is really nice!!
Got to bed around 3:30am, fell asleep at about 4am.. was woken up at 7:30 this morning by a shape in a business suit I can only assume was Lisa asking to borrow my car. Honestly she probably could have asked for a kidney at that point and I would have agreed.

Went out when it was time for the rest of us normal people to get up to see what was wrong with her car... exhaust weld had broken just behind the catalytic converter. Now, I've heard open exhaust at different points in my life on all my buddy's muscle cars as I worked on them... '72 Plymouth Scamp with a 318LA police interceptor, '76 Monte Carlo with a 350SB, '79 Grand LeMans with a 305, '68 Charger with a 383... but there's something truly hokey about a 3.1L Pontiac with no exhaust.

lol bren sounds like a hell of a morning - 3.1 pontiac - which one? Did it sound like it grew another testicle
Geez, Ash--one whole week? I'm lucky if I get two days in a row. . .grumble grumble.
I just returned from an extended, 5-day Memorial day weekend. Visited family, left the kid with grandparents and went camping on Santa Cruz Island (off the coast of southern California). We brought kayaks and explored some of the coastline. Amazing place. Next time, we'll bring snorkeling gear.
Did you do any portaging? I had to do that on my senior camping trip, I hated it. I also hate the word portage.
Beautiful coastline there, Peter. I went to college up in Santa Barbara. Had a nice view of the Channel Islands from the upper stories of the campus library (you know, where I studied. . .I mean took naps). Managed to do some fishing around the Islands before everything got shut down. My buddy came up with his boat once and we fished around the oil rigs as well. Not as scenic as the Islands, though. Miss the nice weather in Santa Barbara, as well as the laid back atmosphere. Cost of living there is pretty steep. Well, for me, at least.

Pontiac Tempest (since they're Canada only AFAIK, it's Pontiac's version of the Corsica)

And the story continues. I suggest we save the tow charge and I'd drive it the 6km to the muffler shop (remember, the pipe ends right after the catalytic... no muffler at all!)... she was mortified, I was LMAO the whole way. Even made sure to drive past my parents, stop in front of their place, wave and rev it a few times... my dad was howling when I called him afterwards.

You make your own fun in this world.

Bren, who'da thunk you were a closeted junk jiggler? What were the SPLs in the cabin?
In reply to:

Oh, geez, you HAD to go straight to calling me a JJ, didn't you... the biggest insult possible.

The SPLs in the cabin were actually a lot louder than I thought they'd be... I'm guessing low 90s, though how much of that was my maniacal laughter, I can't say for sure.

Bren R.
So you asked the mechanic to put in a hydraulic muffler bypass system, right? Just think, at the flip of a switch you could be terrorizing the neighborhood at will!
if you could figure out how to launch potatoes out of the exhaust pipe it'd be perfect ride!
