I know Axiom is currently in the process of making there own recievers, cant wait to see them! I hear there going to be in the 3-4k price range.

Im am very happy with my current M60, VP150, QS8's, and EP500 system. The one thing I would like to see Axiom offer is an even higher output center channel, like the "VP 300" or something. The 150 is great, I just feel like it could be improved upon even more.

What would you guys like to see Axiom come out with?
I honestly thought this was discussed recently, but it ends up it was quite awhile ago!
May I ask about the source for the electronics detail? Did I miss a product announcement?
I know but I'm not telling.
When will you tell?

After we beat him over the head with an ep600.
Or two 500's Either way it will take more than one person to do it.
the decision will be made soon my friends...

So is the subwoofer decision you are making influenced at all by the info you are holding about Axiom's electronics?

I'm starting to wonder if I should hold off on my purchase of an SMS-1? Hmmmm...
2-500s should make it easier to "even-out" the beating too...now that's "punch in the chest" bass!

Alrighty then...let the beatings begin.
Would you like one lump or two? haha
Thank You Sir, may I have another? thump thump
tom, the source came from axiom directly. i dont know if i should name names. maybe its something he could get in trouble for? all i know is that it is in the works now.
How about an M30ti?

1 - 1" tweeter
1 - 5.25" mid
1 - 6.5" woofer

VP300 sounds like a good idea too. How would that be made up? TWMWT?

Of course, we all want an EP200 and EP400...Phasing out the EP125 and EP175, and replacing them with new subs using all new fandangled technologies that are in the EP500 and EP600.

I know outdoor speakers have been mentioned in the past. That would be nice.

Lastly, I say bring back powered versions of the MZero, VPZero, QS2, and a little bitty subwoofer, and package them as a computer gaming setup.

Some M100s would be nice, the M80s with a bid honkin sub built in.
Hey the 100's were idea Wid, when you tried to use subliminal methods on me....ha ha

It worked Randy.
new2, please don't compromise any confidentiality. I was just wondering if I was oblivious.

I have always liked Craig's ideas, on this topic and others. It is hard to think of anything to add. I REALLY like the idea of a powered 2.1 system for computer or iPod use. Remote volume control on that, please.

I'd like to see a VP300 also, with the same driver compliment as the M60 but perhaps only one midrange. Configure it like some other companies' center channels in a squatty box with the tweeter at the top and the two woofers side-by-side at the bottom. I wish they'd make it just to shut up the people who are so disenchanted with the whole idea of the VP150.

How about a nice 6x9 car audio speaker? I would still like some ceiling-mounted speakers; I don't think the W series would look that hip in the ceiling even if they were white.

/discontinue think tank

Speaking of which, just a reminder to Axiom that there is a Canadian equivalent of Bigfoot, called Sasquatch. I can't think of a better name for the VP300 (or, as I call it, the VP250 ).

>>I wish they'd make it just to shut up the people who are so disenchanted with the whole idea of the VP150.

It's funny though... most of the people who "hate the VP150" end up replacing it with a center channel that costs quite a bit more than the VP150.

Craig, I like your idea of smaller subs with the digital processing. May actually get me to start using a sub in my two channel system. Gasp!
NO NO NO

No new products. I can't be tempted by more new products. I won't.

Well if they have to make something I guess the QS10's that many have mentioned might be interesting. Some nice amps or processors would be cool.

I also like the idea of a simple 2.1 for the computer. Although my computer is now located in my main home theater room it is in a corner where the bass is too accented and my back faces the mains so I need some axioms facing my direction while I make all these silly posts.

We did view some of their ideas at the Axiom plant during the get together
The only problem is when is it going to be released as I am about to make a purchase and may hold out.

I still like the "QS10" idea, but the "New" center channel concept is getting to be less important to me!!

I was listening to WOTW again and was marvelling at how well the M3 as center(vertical and inverted)was keeping up with all the action!! This thing is gonna be hard to better!!(for those of us in the M3 M40 M50 school) It's near full-range, ported, and loves to be crossed at 60!!! And dosen't have any of the standard D'Apollito downsides!! It's a real "WOW"!!

I'd still like to see Axiom produce a modern sub plate amp. How 'bout with multi-band overlapping paraEQ??

Santa could bring me a set of Axiom(sounding)earphones that aren't like every other set of cans we have around here with thick heavy bass

And hey!! Where do I get my "M50 Jacket"??(it got down to near 60 this morning)
>>Santa could bring me a set of Axiom(sounding)earphones that aren't like every other set of cans we have around here with thick heavy bass

What, like two M2i's joined with a headband ?
Yeah,.....that's it!!!

But maybe the two M2s could be connected by one of those Bose folded plastic chambers to get just a bit more bass
I want speakers with oil-filled capacitors. Because the oil is magic.
Yeah,....especially the brand called "Reptilube"
