Yes, Clarence, we suspect that you'll spend very little time either at the tables or the CES, but if you have some time, look at the new Denon 2807. Suggestions from the film convention will also be of interest(will they be doing it in HD-DVD in the coming year?).

Not wanting to analyze y'all's musings at any depth, I would suggest to the original poster that he forsake the tables, the porn and the geek convention, and enjoy some of the more wholesome activities Vegas has to offer. Great golf courses, beautiful piano bar at the top of the Stratosphere, new HofBrau Haus across from the Hard Rock, intimate little club called Cheetahs, etc...

We just came back from Vegas - the 2 yr old loved it. Especially the Bellagio and the Venetian. Have fun.

I loved the fountains of Bellagio the first time I saw it. I feel like I was in Vegas last night after watching Oceans 11.
