Is mounting the vp150 on the wall with the axiom metal brkts a good idea? Specs say they will hold up to 40lbs. The wall mount will look the cleanest, but I don't want to sacrifice performance or risk damaging the speaker. Thanks.

You won't damage the speaker, they come with a threaded insert for the mounting bolt. The speaker will sound great isolated from everything. No worries...

The owners of the company mount their VP150s (in their house!) with the self same full metal brackets. No problem!

I mounted my VP150 with the metal axiom bracket. I was skeptical at first but it worked well!!

I've done it before. Worked out well. Space is a little tight when getting it mounted, but use a long allen wrench and you've do great. It'll hold as long as you mount it to a wall stud.
