What is the best way to calibrate my speakers. Should I use my Yamaha's RXV2400 test tones or use the AVIA test tones. I will be using and SPL meter.

I currenlty have M60's, VP150, Q4 and EP500.

Thanks.
I would recommend the Avia Disk, I believe it has more test tones at smaller incriments, i could be wrong though.

I plan on using Avia with an SPL meter with my RX-V659 when my speakers arrive.
Joe, you also shouldn't overlook the possibility that using the SPL meter(the RS model isn't extremely precise and claims +/- 2dB accuracy)and adding in human error in using it may result in the auto-calibration done by the 2400 being at least as accurate. If there are differences between the two it shouldn't be assumed which is more nearly correct, as we sometimes read(i.e. using the meter to see how far the auto-cal is "off").
