I am ready to buy and have reviewed only one of my options, the Paradigm Studio 20. I "feel" these speakers. They are full, clear, and have a surprising thump for such a small unit.

Now I am also considering the M22 or M60 w/ VP150 and QS8. Only problem, I cannot hear these speakers before I leave back to Bermuda.

Would I be crazy to still go ahead and purchase the Axioms (which I had always planned), without ever hearing them?? I feel like I already own them I have been reading up on their reviews for so long!!

Please help!!

Two options I think.

1. Purchase them, return within 30 days if you don't like them (you pay for return postage) after all the best place to listen is in your own home.

2. Tell us where you live, there may be a member who is nearby and is willing to let you audition them.


as an aside I really wish more people would take the time to show their "location" in their profile, it does add a much needed extra dimension.

I also seriously considered Paradigm because I liked the sound when I listened to their set up. Although I never had the chance to audition Axioms, I decided to go for Axioms based on my readings and Axiom's speaker specifications. Besides for the less than the price of Paradigm Studio 20, I can have the Epic 80. A floor standing logically will sound fuller than a bookshelf.

I am happy with my purchase and if you like Paradigm, you will like Axioms.

Go for the Axiom's. You won't be sorry.
