Now that RS is gone in Canada, I can't find the analog SPL meter from RS anywhere.

Anyone can recommend a place (online or a store) where I can buy a good but cheap SPL meter in Canada?

I got a digital SPL meter at CC but it's not very good, so I'm looking for the "famous" analog one from RS or something equivalent.

Thanks!
The one I use form RS is a digital version and it works really well.
I think Ebay is the only place to get those Rat Shack SPL meters. On second thought, you can order the Avia Disk, and Rat Shack SPL meter thru sonicboomaudio I think its pretty expensive compared to the USA tho.

Kk thanks anyway I'll unbox my new AVR tonight and first run YPAO to see what it can do, my previous experiences with it weren't very positive but maybe the "new and improved" version as Yamaha say will give me better results who knows! ;\)
Radio Shack is now The Source, at least in Ottawa it is.. you would find one there.

U would think so, but they don't carry it.
The Source is Circuit City. Ratshack doesn't exist in Canada anymore.

I picked up my RS analog meter at sonicboom audio. The benefit of the RS meter is that there are calibration files available for things like REW.

There are also adjusted sweeps that allow you to get a reasonably accurate 20Hz-20kHz in room measurement.

You caught my attention here. ;\) Where can I get those files? I was thinking getting a CD on the web, but indeed some sample files would fit the bill.
