Pot calling the kettle black? Why have you posted a private business matter to Axiom's public forum?
Posted By: AdamP88 Re: Unethical business practices... - 11/07/08 10:37 PM
Apparently he doesn't hold himself to the same standards as Axiom.
Posted By: EFalardeau Re: Unethical business practices... - 11/07/08 10:40 PM
It's called free publicity.
Posted By: Wid Re: Unethical business practices... - 11/07/08 10:43 PM

Pretty harsh stuff for a C note.
Posted By: jakewash Re: Unethical business practices... - 11/07/08 10:44 PM
I can only hope this was a troll and is not in fact taking place, talk about unethical practices.....

William, many of us are members of your forum, if in fact you really are legit. This type of communication shows your lack of business ethics and professionalism.

I've been an affialiate with Axiom for many years and have had no issues receiving funds for my referrals. I think I'll contact some of the senior members I know from HTS to express my feelings, oh wait your the owner. ;\)

You obviously are not familiar with Axioms reputation in the industry for 30 years.

For those who are hard of hearing, yes.

Posted By: merchman Re: Unethical business practices... - 11/07/08 11:48 PM
It snowed here in central Wisconsin for awhile today. Supposed to be more coming. Guess it's time to get the snowblower ready for winter. I'll have a few, or more, beers tonight and think about tomorrow.
Posted By: Wid Re: Unethical business practices... - 11/08/08 12:29 AM

Snow is suppose to be here tomorrow night. I hope not to much I want to smoke a pork butt for pulled pork on Sunday.

There's always more beer and snow up in Chedderland \:\) Oh and cheese too.

I am coming to this thread late, and have no idea what transpired but after seeing the OP removing all of his posts this entire thread should be deleted.

Doc, that generally doesn't happen around here.

Cliff Notes:

HTS: You didn't pay us in a check we can cash in the USA.
Ax: Resubmitted another check that could not be cashed in the USA.
HTS: Try Again
Ax: We are working to help you

3 months pass... $120+ still not paid

HTS posts complaint.

ah
I see
a disgruntled expectant of being paid. An owner of speakers who shows them solely for the purpose of obtaining the amazing amount of dollars that you get from showing your speakers.
okay then
moving on...

No not an axiom speaker owner, an internet site sporting a link to axiom speakers

even worse

so, moving even further along. . .

Actually it's better, a disgruntled axiom owner, now THAT would be a bad thing . . . \:\)

The whole thing was rediculous; to stoop so low as to post something like that. Makes you wonder about his idea of ethics.
Posted By: SirQuack Re: Unethical business practices... - 11/08/08 03:15 AM
All I know is I will no longer frequent as a member of that forum if he/she was legit. I know a few of the moderators, so may pass on a PM. Also, if it is legit, I will no longer be a fanboy of REW.
Posted By: BlueJays1 Re: Unethical business practices... - 11/08/08 03:24 AM
Thanks for filling us in.

If I was Axiom I would remove my advertisting from that forum in a second. To take private business matters and post them on a public message board is uncalled for.
Posted By: jakewash Re: Unethical business practices... - 11/08/08 03:50 AM
Hint taken
Posted By: pmbuko Re: Unethical business practices... - 11/08/08 04:02 AM
I don't feel it's proper to discuss -- even to sum up in Cliff Notes style -- what transpired. That's what PMs are for. <<hint>>
Posted By: BlueJays1 Re: Unethical business practices... - 11/08/08 04:10 AM
This thread should be just deleted by a moderator.
Posted By: SRoode Re: Unethical business practices... - 11/08/08 04:12 AM
Well PM, sorry to answer questions... It was my summary, and I live in a free country.

If I feel to leave honest Cliff Notes, which were accurate, it's my choice.

And, IMHO, if the original poster is honest... Although this in not the proper forum for his complaint, he should have been paid long ago.
Posted By: BlueJays1 Re: Unethical business practices... - 11/08/08 04:15 AM
Agreed SRoode. I am not changing my post but if the mods feel like they want to delete any messages or this entire thread then by all means....
Posted By: pmbuko Re: Unethical business practices... - 11/08/08 04:35 AM
It's certainly your choice -- I'm not a moderator -- but it's not an issue of free speech since posting here is a privilege granted by Axiom. With this in mind, if they saw fit to delete the original posts, why repeat the content of those posts for all to see?

Just so we're clear, I'm trying to have a civilized discussion, not an argument. \:\)
Posted By: SirQuack Re: Unethical business practices... - 11/08/08 04:38 AM
Like any company, Axiom may make a few mistakes as their employees are human. I'm sure this guy has a bunch of robots working for him. Anyway, as most of us have experienced, Axiom holds true to their referral and affiliate programs, at least in the 5+years I've been around.
Posted By: SRoode Re: Unethical business practices... - 11/08/08 04:44 AM
Never doubted Axiom (which is why I'm here every night). We all make mistakes too... But, if he is telling the truth, 3 months is way too long. How would you feel if someone promised you something and 3 months later you did not get it?

Anyway Pete, I feel my discussions have always been civilized.

Gaah. Stupid internet. I wasn't trying to imply they were not. I just wanted to be sure you were interpreting my comments in the same way. \:\)

Hah! Cool!

Had to edit... Replying to Nick.
Posted By: EFalardeau Re: Unethical business practices... - 11/08/08 04:48 AM
It's not just the word, it's the way you say it that matters. Yours is missing the little "I don't know what" that would make it a heart-felt "removed".
Posted By: SRoode Re: Unethical business practices... - 11/08/08 04:49 AM
I know Pete. Just wanted to give everyone the benefit of the doubt (both this person and Axiom) before condemnation.
Posted By: myrison Re: Unethical business practices... - 11/08/08 12:40 PM
Steve - thanks for posting the cliff notes... I don't see any harm in it either (free speech in Axiom land and all that) \:\)

If nothing else, it puts the scope of the issue in a clear light. Doing something like this over that amount of money... yeesh. \:o

Maybe the bank was refusing to cash the cheque as they were waiting for the bailout from the feds?
Just kidding \:\)

I’d feel like we just had an election.

Just kidding

Or they saw “Cheque” written on it and said that they couldn’t accept it because they only take “Checks.” Many people here understand American not necessarily English. \:\(
