Now on Ebay if you're in the market for some brackets. Here's the description.

New Axiom pair of Speaker Brackets in White. I bought these to use with a home theater system but bought Bose speakers instead and never took these out of the boxes. These sell for $40.00 each from Axiom I am selling a pair so this is an $80.00 value.

Bose????????????????????
It is against forum rules to discuss "for sale" or "wanted" items, fyi...
While I understand those rules, I wouldn't think this actually falls under that restriction, would it? He's not actually trying to sell the brackets... I don't think? Anyway that's not what I gathered from his post. I think he was more miffed at the fact that someone out there had an Axiom home theater all picked out & ready to buy, and then switched his order over to Bose instead.

Which is pretty sad indeed. As this poor fool may never know the level of audio performance he just gave up. Oh well, I guess until they come out with a pill to cure 'stupid', this sort of thing will continue to happen from time to time.
I agree with Micah, but I can't help thinking that the ebay post something of a joke. Weird.
I guess I don't work for Axiom, but comments like "Now on Ebay if you're in the market" , "I bought these", and "I am selling..."

My bad if I assumed that the ebay add was from the OP, just how I read it, oh well.
OK I'm guilty...... sorta

In the truest sense I did violate the rules by suggesting the brackets were on sale. However, the main point was indeed that someone had purchased an Axiom system, but was going to go with Bose instead. Makes you wonder if he really did hook up the Axioms in the first place.
Tsk! Tsk!

"You are hereby sentenced to 24 hrs of Randy Travis music played on a Bose Wave system, hooked up with Monster Cable no-less...."

;\)
When I read the first post, it sounded as if YOU were the one selling the brackets, hence the reminder about the forum's rules. Pointing the that ad with the intent you had is not against the rules.
Quackster, I do see your point as it did indeed seem to toe-the-line of being illegal. I just didn't think that was his actual intention.

And this last post brings up an excellent point,,, why are there no 'Bose/Monster Cable' package deals running around the internet anywhere? This is an over priced match made in heaven!!!
I can actually tolerate Randy Travis in small doses. I actually like REAL country music. To really earn dispensation I will listen to any and all rap music. That would really hurt.

As for the Monster cable- don't you think I've suffered enough?

no harm no foul, these guys can be pretty sarcastic. \:\)
I, for one, did not read it as if you were selling something. I saw it as a, 'hey, look at this freak' post. So \:\/

But I can see how others did think it was an advertisement from you. Perhaps quotes around the sale text would have made it stand out more as someone-else's quote. But don't worry too much. We're a pretty easy-going bunch around here. I doubt there will be calls to put you in the gallows. ;\)

While I'm sure Axiom's brackets are nice enough, they are just brackets. It's not like he's selling his Axiom speakers because he bought a Bose system. *That* would be crazy talk. ;\)
Waaaiiitt a minute.....what's wrong with Randy Travis?
I have to admit, I'm not a big fan of Country Music but there are a few exceptions....like this one .
