They've built... a TV. With arguably higher quality speakers than a TV normally has. Ooo.
They will probably sell by the truckloads.
Spank me baby.
" no extra speaker or subwoofer needed"
Finally a reason to bring back SnickerDog !!!
to me, what they say is like beauty products advertising: B.S. to feed the gullible and make huge profits.
Dude. The HD picture is integrated?! Sign me up! If there's one thing I can't stand it's disintegrated HD pictures.
But in all seriousness, it's probably the software / user interface that are this thing's greatest selling point. Products that make things easier for people who don't hold too tightly to their money are bound to sell well.
you're so right about the disintegrated HD picture; a couple of years ago i bought a Kuro Elite, and now seeing this Bose LCD makes me think seriously to sell mine for cheap and buy this latest tech.
Quote from their video, "Everything you want in an entertainment system, but without 'miserable' speakers."
I guess it can't be Bose speakers then.
60'' HDTV: $ 1500.00
M60's: $ 1040.00
EP350 : $ 768.00
Sherwood Receiver : $ 800.00
Geek Squad labor: $ 500.00
Total Amount: $ 4608.00
Amount for Bose system $5600.00
My throw together system and you still have $1000.00 left over for surrounds, interconnects. blu-ray player and speaker cables. Whew!!!
Great marketing. Didn't Apple buy Bose?
AHAHAHAHAHA
DISCLAIMER - THAT WAS A JOKE
.
No, but there was a Mac with integrated Bose speakers several years ago.
It cost $7500, was delivered and installed by white gloved techs riding in a limo.
DISCLAIMER - THAT WAS NOT A JOKE.
Then without dissing it, isn't it just a claimer?
Mark's been on fire lately
!
Bose : makes even less sense as a woman, for a third of the price!
.... no, I'm not bitter.
In the same type of thought process as "jumbo shrimp", their website show a picture of their "invisible" speaker.
Must have used their special invisible camera.
Makes you wonder if Monster will get into the mix with some invisible speaker wire/cables. Why would you want to hook up invisible speakers if you can see the wiring? Hmmmm - with no mass, there would be no resistance, so the price will likely be -- monster sized.
