Panamorph is coming out with a new horizontal expansion lens at a very attractive price point. This might be an option for anyone who wants to go with a 2.35 screen and constant image height set up, but just couldn't swing it due to the cost of the lens or didn't want to deal with using a Zoom feature. I have absolutely no idea how well this lens will work. They have a pre-order deal going on for the next month or so...

It's about time. A gazillion dollar anamorphic lens never made a lot of sense to me anyway. I want to eventually turn part of my home into a 2.35 viewing screen.
