Does this include custom speakers and or amps?
No; as stated, this includes speakers in the Factory Outlet(found by clicking on "Deals"). Custom speakers and other equipment aren't available there.
Edit: speaker stands are also shown there.
"site wide" could be misleading.
Its all good.
Wish I could take advantage of this.
What ever happened to the great deals on custom finish speakers that were in the Owner's Club?
On Monday I got the sale price on my second EP400 ordered from the Outlet.
Nice surprise...

Just placed an order today for a VP-160; thanks Axiom!
picked up another set of Algonquin + there were a couple of bargains in the Auction site I also grabbed (but the 20% off sale tends to be cheaper than the Auction site for most items so load up now!)
I am helping a guy from work (one who actually will listen to my advice vs. the last guy from work that asked for my opinion, and then still went with an overpriced, lower quality product via a local installer) build his home theater.
His house is just being framed now, but we are going there tomorrow to get some measurements and make some design choices. He asked me to price up some in-wall speakers for the fronts, plus surrounds for a 7.1 setup. The in-walls are easy enough, since there are no color choices, but the surrounds in the fatory outlet are only in black or boston cherry. Not sure that those will fit the idea of their decor.
I am selling him hard on the Axiom setup vs. the other five competitor options. It is still a little early in the game for him, but he is big on buying where there is a deal. Maybe I will get him to buy and figure out the decor to match the speakers...
Safest just to go with black in that case.
Nick, you could have him get inwall M2's for the surrounds. I know they're not as good, but they're not as expensive, either. And if he's still in the framing stage, you could place them optimally. Less $ and higher WAF. Just sayin'.
Been waffling on the VP160 since Christmas. 20% off sure pushes me over the line!

I think that there are some architectural issues to overcome. It won't be a dedicated space, so the surrounds will most likely need to be mounted using ceiling mounts vs. on the wall.
I will know more tomorrow when we get into the space with tape measures and such, but good idea on the M2 in-walls.
Wow, this really is a great deal. I wish I was in the market for something new right now.
Hmmm... Maybe I should be!
Know what you mean, David. I've been toying with the idea of a new center, but with the extraordinarily poor position mine is in (I'll admit it--it's behind the TV facing straight up), I can't imagine it'd make a difference.
Four eye bolts through the ceiling and some chains would really open up your center channel placement options, Ken...
Heh. I do not think that will fly.
Right, because it will be anchored in place.
If an incabinet can go in a cabinet why can't it go in an aluminum cabinet?
Brushed black please.
The VP150 is staring at me. Of course, there are 3 choices... new, matched to my custom vinyl on my M80s (and M50s, and M22s that I'll never get back from my parents, and my EP350...), from the outlet at 20% off in Boston Cherry, matched to my QS8s (thanks, Charles!), or on the deals site, there's a v2 in BC that is extraordinarily inexpensive right now.
I reposted my flat cable on the auction site. If anyone buys it, I'll buy a 150. Of course, the chances of anyone buying it are rather low...
I've had QS4s on my wish list for a while now, to complement my M50s.
20% off may just force my hand.
Personally, I'd spend the small amount of extra money and get the QS8's due to their lower bass extension.
Do you think axiom can make me a custom ep800 that doubles as a crib? The wife said we need to buy a crib...

Nahw homes... Git yo'self da E-effin'P 800 an yo whole house will be da cribz....
On the Factory Outlet page it says "...the "wait time" below lists when you should expect delivery on the model of your choice". I purchased the Algonquin on the 9th May and the wait time was 2-weeks yet they are yet to ship much less received(regardless of much I press F5). This is not a complaint as it is a great price but from your experience how accurate are these "wait times"? (F5 F5 F5)
Thanks
Nathan
The times are just estimates, afaik. Sometimes they come sooner than expected, sometimes later.

Yes if i recall sometimes the wait times are based on when a product is run.
For example, they make M60s one week, but then build M80s during another. Knowing that 5% of speakers (just an example value) might have a cosmetic fault they can say that they'll have Factory Outlet M60s ready in 2 weeks and M80s in 1, but if they had a good run and no M60s or M80s were faulted, you might have to wait for another M60s or M80s run to go around again.
Something to that effect.
Had to order cast baskets.
Will wait...
$500 of EP800's and $300 off M80's.
Can M80's 4' apart work as a single center? This would solve a few problems for about the same money.
Vertically or horizontally? Either way, that's gotta be some of the most overkill I've seen.

Just found out this morning that the guy bought the Axiom setup that I recommended. I have been out of the office for almost 3 weeks, so I didn't hear until this morning that he made the purchase and got the extra 10% off. I've posted the details in another thread.
Fedex truck just left. Shipped yesterday here today, cannot get any better than that. Great effort and thought went into the shipping packaging.
Hard to believe these speakers are seconds, I cannot find anything wrong with them! Purchased the M60's, Qs8's, 160 centre and the M500 sub. So far very impressed. Now I need to pickup a new receiver, today I hope. Thanks Axiom!!

Wow your quite close to the factory. I would definetly go for a tour if I lived close by.
I live on Vancouver Island - 2035 miles away - & I went for a tour about a year ago at this time.
It was a nice experience & informative even for those in my party that aren't audio-type people.
Lovely scenic area as well. Highly recommended if one is in the area...

Well Tam im 5155.3 Km from the factory so its not happening anytime soon .But I can dream

Yup, I was forced to go there for a wedding in SW Ontario & on the way back to Ottawa, we swung by Dwight & Algonquin Park.
Otherwise, it's a bit out of the way for us way out here on the edge.
Now back to setting up my Two - count em - Two EP400s...
TAM
TAM, how many EP400s was that?
Without my glasses it's Four, ha!
Just got a 12' length of baseboard off with minimal damage. It's the crack filling & touching up the paint with an artist's brush that is the most fun...
