Seems you can pick up a Harman Kardon AVR7200 for ~$1k. Is that too much mojo for a M22/VP150/QS8 setup? For that matter, what receivers would be on a short list for this setup. As always...thanks for the feedback.

Jeff, the receivers that would be on my short list would be those with automatic room and speaker equalization, i.e. the Pioneer 53TX or 55TXi and the Yamaha 1400 or 2400.

Nothing's too much for those babies. (well, a $10000 receiver might be...)
However, the 7200 is getting a little long in the tooth.

I'm considering the same range in a reciever you are. I think I'll be going with the Pioneer Elite 55Txi. Mainly for the reason stated above. Help with speaker calibration seems ideal.
