Great forum..... looking to purchase speaker s to upgrade existing system consisting of kenwood 100w/channel receiver, 100w/sub and some really generic front and surround (one-way!!) speakers. My room is roughly 400 sq.ft, but half is dinning/kitchen. With a sub, my first impression was to get one of the bookstands (m3 or m22). My questions are: would the bigger m50 or m60 make more sense for home theater as fronts? I know they have a fuller range, but are they that much louder ? I'm planning on moving soon, what would be the room size limit for the m3 or m22?

If you go the bookshelf route, I would suggest the M22s for your large space. There is no particular room size limit for the speakers but you may need quite a bit more power if your new space is going to be substantially larger than your current space. If you are looking to get more than just the additional bandwidth by going to the towers I would suggest looking to the M80s. This will give you an improved overall performance and the higher output you are looking for (The M60s will do this also but to a lesser degree on the output side).
