Hi guys, long time lurker, first time posting. I've done some research on this forum on which speakers to buy, but I'm confused on my situation a little bit. My viewing room, (which is very small) is 12 x 10. I sit against the back wall so my viewing distance to the tv is 10 to 10-1/2 feet. The problem is that I'm renting right now, but by next fall, I'll be moving into a bigger house w/ a bigger room for my home theater. Right now my preference is 90/10 HT to Music. I'm wanting to purchase the m60/150/qs8 and run it on a yamaha receiver that I have,(rx-v596 100w x 5). Will the M60 suffer too much in that size of a room that I might have to downsize to the M22 until I move? I just don't want to purchase the M22 if I can get by w/ the M60, that's my dilema. Thx for any advice!

Since you'll be moving to a house with more space, and you have the money for the M60s, I wouldn't bother with the M22s. Even though your current room is less than ideal, the sound won't suffer enough to make it worthwhile to go with the M22s for the short-term.

Wow, this will be very painful. I...I...I agree with Pete. Boy, that hurt.

If next fall is the horizon for the move, get the M60s now. In the little room you are describing, I'm not sure that worrying about the difference will MAKE a difference.

Given the choice of having too much speaker for a year, or too little speaker for 10 years, I would take the former every time. By all means, get the 60's
