Following the instructions here: http://www.tnt-audio.com/clinica/flexye.html
I made myself a 6 shelf HiFi Rack. I modified the design slightly using 5/8" Steel rods instead of 3/4" and I added the castors to roll it around.

Pretty cool, Jordan! Is there a practical reason for only having 3 legs, or is it just cosmetic? Could it be done with 4? The castors are a great idea, particularly on your wooden floors. Should make cable hookup really easy. All in all, very nice!
Thanks for the links, BJ.
Thanks!
1. The design calls for three legs. I'd say it was to reduce costs but the rods cost only $4.00 each. From what I understahd it's much easier to level with only 3, though it does look a little funny. My friend suggested putting one in the back and 2 in the front (or the only way) as opposed to the sides.
2. Yes otherwise you need some rubber base or something.
3. I need something in the back for the cables.
I saw your post on ARS, very cool. These pix don't work thou... weren't you trying to pain em black or something? how'd that turn out?

Sweet DIY rack, I didn't realize we had other axiom/Ars members on here!
We used to have one more, but he stopped comin' round awhile back...
I actually learned about Axiom FROM the ARS forums.
