OK I've decided Axiom's are the speaker for me.
I have a Rotel RSX 965 Receiver (150w per ch or 75w RMS per ch) and a 16-46CS+ with an S1000 amp...I'm ordering the 2nd 16-46 soon.

Anyway my goal is even more impact for HT as I'm 40%HT/40%Xbox/20%music. I'm looking for ground shuddering impact... I'm a total bass feak apparently.

Looking at my goals, would it be advantageous to use Axiom M60/80 up front set as large with my subs? or stick to the M22's up front set as small with the subs for best effect?

Thanks in advance, all opinions welcome.

Hi Marcus

I am sure you will be very happy if you go with the M60/M80.

I have the SVS 16-46cs+ w/ S1000 and the M80(set to large), VP150 (first edition)(small), QS8(small) and I believe I have an excellent package that sounds terrific in all frequency ranges.

Even when I play 2 channel music with or without the sub, the M80s image so well I have to check to see if the centre channel is on, simply amazing!

Good luck!

Kevin,

What are your listening-room dimensions? I'm considering both the M60 and the M80 but I'm concerned that my 9.25' x 23' room may be too small for the M80s.

My room dimensions are 10.5 x 27 x 7.5
I have 2 rows of seats, the centre of both rows sit 9 & 12 feet from the mains and the QS8s sit about a foot behind the second row on the sides.

I don't think your room is too small, either one will do.
I always try to buy a little bit bigger than I need, that way I know I will have no short comings from the speakers.
