The Axiom speakers are awesome. M60's and VP150 in the front and QS8's for side and rear surrounds. Crickets chirp...dogs bark in the distance....cannon balls whizz over your head and under your feet...jets strafe the ground in front of you.... you're in the audience at the Fleetwood Mac concert.....Yah! I love it!
Be it movies or music the Axioms are superb.

Our theater is in what used to be the single car attached garage. It measures 15.5ft by 25.5ft, has seating for twelve and features a 111" by 69" screen.

Very nice, deserving of its own thread. Where were you sitting when you calibrated? Some areas better watch than others?

As seated facing the screen the 2nd seat from the right in the middle row is the sweet spot. The picture is great from any seat, though I do wish I had made the seating area about 1.5 to 2 feet closer to the screen. If I leave the subwoofers in each of the front corners the bass is a bit boomie sitting in the left end seat in the back row. If I move the left sub out to even with the left main speaker then the bass is perfect in all the seats.

Here is what we started with. It's amazing how much stuff you can put in a garage and still get a car in it

LOL! Since you appropriated the garage as your HT, I have a vision of all that stuff now sitting in your driveway.

I paid $1250 for the projector. It had about 525 hours on it and the tubes were in excellent condition. Even though we are projecting an image larger than the experts recommend, we are very happy with the picture quality.
When our budget will allow it, I sure would like to see what a 9" crt projector can do.
