(2) SVS 20-39 PC+ in room, when will she know??

Just got my 2 SVS powered 20-39 PC Plus_ subs after MUCH internal, and some external debate. I can only say "wow" in several ways. These things sound incredible, I was debating the 20-39 ultras, but 650.00 bucks more for 2, I went the step above the PCI's but not the ultras. I can't imagine wanting more than these plus subs. Anyhow, the problem is these things are huge!!! My girl is not home yet, she has been speaking of alergies. I told her on the phone, I have 2 "super air cleaners/purifiers" they are there, RIGHT when you enter the room! They are big, black, and round, and say SVS on them, cause I care so much about her. How long do you think I can pull that off??

considering they will probably shake and rattle all the dust up into the air, not long.

Why not run out and pick up a couple of small round air purifiers and stick them on top of the SFSs ?

It went better than I thoght, she says they are "intrusive" but not too bad. Wants to put plants right on the tops where they are ported = NOT. I wish the end caps could be beech. I think (2) actully look better than (1) with some better (spelling??) seametry. I put in some bassy jazz in, and said all the nice things i know. She knows what I am doing, probably better than me! I'll get the dishes tonight, then with the lights down, and a great movie, everything should blend right in. I showed her the 16-46s, on-line, and said, "see honey, I was thinking of asthetics on this purchase, I really was"

This plan seems plausible, right up to the time that you are watching Finding Nemo and Darla taps on the tank. In short order, the girl friend flies through the just-shattered window and finds herself sitting on the front lawn wondering what just happened. When thi happens, dash outside and say - "Well, how are your sinuses?". It may be your only chnace.

A word of caution on the top grilles. Not only ports, but also lots of little openings that allow small destructive stuff to fall into the woofer assembly. Be careful.
