I have a Denon 3803 and I am looking to add more power to it. I have Axioms M60, VP150 and 4-QS8. My subwoofer is a HSU VTF-2.

I thought I would go with a brand new receiver, but many people have said adding amps would be the best way to go.

I have had Outlaw recommended to me and at first I was drawn to the 770 because it would take care of all seven channels in purchase. Then, after talking to some people, they recommended a couple of different things:

1. Outlaw 755 and let the 3803 power the surround back channels.
2. Purchase 2 or 3 of the M-Block amps and add more down the road.

Option 2 is the most economical right now, but I have never let that stand in the way. Do I lose anything by eventually having 7 seperate amps?

Any advice would be very helpful. For once, I am not familiar with going this route because I have always owned integrated receivers.

Thanks!

I did the 755 and later added the M200's.

How do you like the M-Blocks? Did you make the jump from a receiver to the current setup you have?

I actually made the purchase on the Integra receiver first and then the amplifiers. Of course my old speakers no longer sounded as good as I thought they should so I upgraded to the M80's .

The M200's are very reliable and they are very transparent.

I think you would be very happy with them.

I completely agree on the m-200; Outlaw Audio has made an extremely nice little amp that has no trouble keeping up with my B&K Ref 2220. I couldn't recommend it enough.
