Help:

This is how I have conected my denon 2805, denon 1910, cable box, and hdtv.
toslink= cable box to 2805(sound only)
hdmi= 1910 to tv
6rca's=1910 to 2805(dvd-a,sacd)
analog rca=1910 to 2805(all other audio)
svideo=cable box to tv(video)
rca=cable box to tv(audio)
My tv has a reverse 3:2 pulldown option(When set to cinemotion)
There is no dvi connection on the cable box. rca, svideo and toslink only.
Soooo the question is for better sound and/or video quality "Anyone got a better way to connect this system?" Seems to me I saw a post mentioning denons upconversion for the cable signal.....not sure tho.

Thanks
Tom

from the cable box S Video is better than RCA.

is the TOSLINK for sound? if so you can connect that to your receiver.

TOSLINK is just another term for a digital optical cable. And yes, most receivers have connections for them.
