m60/vp150/ep350 (salad bowl) have arrived!!! - 03/16/05 07:28 AM
Hello to all and thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience on the AXIOM forum that helped me sell my *ose system and purchase Axiom speakers!!!
I received and installed my m60/vp150/ep350 this evening after their arrival this afternoon. They aren't optimized using the YPAO on my yamaha 1500 but they are simply awesome sounding!!! My wife can feel the base (no worries about WAF, she likes consumer electronics as much as I do) and the kids get a kick out of watching the speaker movements w/o the covers. I can't wait to get them set up using the YPAO!!! Next purchase: QS8's so that I can have 7.1. I'll post more comments as I become more familiar with the nuances of my system (currently listening to the EAGLES When Hell Freezes Over in DTS surround while I type this post).
BTW,
If anyone has any questions/concerns about AXIOM factory outlet speakers (and I don't know why anyone would be concerned...), You can be assured that they are worth the wait and the savings. I can not find any reasons why these speakers were considered factory outlets. There is absolutely nothing wrong with them cosmetically and they sound great. NOTHING BUT PRAISE FOR AXIOM SPEAKERS!!!
Living room - M60 fronts/VP150/M20surrounds/EP350/RXV1500/Onkyo802/Sony 42"LCD
Master bedroom - M20 for fronts and surrounds/VP100/EP125/HK135/PanasonicF87/Toshiba 27"
