Well only about 4 hours late, but just helped off load the 600 and other 6 boxes, will be checking the 600 first, as the bottm of the box looks in bad shape. Will take more detailed pics of the sub as I did not do that yet, should have pics on the page in an hour or so.

I hear he's building something like that Yamaha Sound Projector, but with replacing the 42 channels of 2.5W amp plus 1.25" driver with 42 channels of Halo and M80. That will allow all the speakers to go at the front of the room, simplifying wiring and furniture placement (and leaving more room for oak ).

You can understand how a system like that would have to be assembled in stages.

Just put 13 pics of the new toys on the web pages. First impressions of the twin 600, just out of the box and connected to the first, using the same settings, no BFD or balanced cables. Only played one cd, but enough to tell it will be staying, not sending it back.

Off to clean up and move boxes out of the house.

Actually some one suggested two more, would fill in the space between the cabinets, but unless they are donated, its not happening. Thanks for the comments on the wood, still have a couple of pieces of finish trim to do, but I'm happy with the apperance of project.

You really should stop "stealing the glory" of the EP600s by making such fine furniture and trim-work.

I'm very very tempted to call in sick next Thursday and join in the calibration fun.

Geez, its just some oak with stain. I should be able to build something after playing with wood for over 40 years, and thanks for the compliment, I'm really happy with the way the storage units turned out. And, ya, skip work, not every day you can get to set up two 600s, they are sounding good now, so should only improve.

Oooh, I'm off next Thursday, too.

Thanks Tom, still have a couple of pices of trim to finish up. Most of yesterday I was working on setting up the twins with the balanced cables and trigger wires. Long story, and will post details once I have a reply from Axiom. But it appears I may have an issue with the first sub, and if I'm not in error, it will need to be replaced.
