photobucket seems to be acting up
i cant get all 3 photos to show up
Nice setup... love the wall. Unless I'm greatly mistaken, that's a Warbird and Enterprise-D, right?
ya, my dad painted it when i was like 8, its pretty sweet but the tv covers up the eterprise...:( [im 17 now]
Nice setup. At least we know you have your priorities right.A little tv and a great sound system
Let's see now;........60+60+150=17
Those numbers gonna make a lot of the older guys with lesser systems feel a little left behind
F107plus5, heck that's what I was thinking. I don't think I even had a boom box till junior year.
OK, I have to know. What are all those purple and blue DVDs?
At 17 I was still using a little RCA 45rpm disc changer plumbed into a Silvertone tube guitar amp, worked quite well.....in those days,.......
those are my umm movies... gotta love blockbuster (that shelf is full now, pics are a month old)
oh and yes i bought it all my self, no help for my parents..(working 60 hours a week helps..)
im getting a new tv or projector eventaully, but qs-8's first
be proud man. Good on ya to work hard for it. I give props to anyone that earns what they have.
I bought my first set of Carvers at the age of 16, they were powering a set of Cerwin Vega d9's at the time...actually, they still are as my older party system. I worked as a DJ from age 11...yes, 11, to 23.
hmm, wish i had some carvers lol...ill be getting oulaw m200's eventually too...man im getting too addicted to all this ht stuff
Very cool. I had a Sounddesign system from Kmart when I was 17.
So... do the freshman chicks dig your set-up or what?
im not in school right now, im in like an apprenticeship program (im a Mould Maker) where i work full time while earning credits, im out of school for a year working, so no none have seen it yet...:D
Like newf said be proud young man. The satisfaction of this hobbie is immense. I started at age 15 with a Marantz 2216(16 wpc, lol)and Epicure 110's, etc. About $500.00 in 1970's money. The 2nd best part, besides listening, was I earned it too. I really like your setup; finishes, furniture, PC. etc.
Very nice system Darren. You have made an investment that you will enjoy for many years to come. It is good to see that not all young people throw all of their money into cars (they are such a poor investment - it took me 40 years to learn that). Enjoy!
Very Nice darren, As stated before, at 17 you have a system that is incredible. At 40, I can only say I thought it was so bad-a$$ to have my top loading Akai cassette deck replce my 8 track. And those 15" paper woofers that couldn't hold a candle to your 60's Concrats, it's a very nice system, The heck with the TV (for now) right. Jon
Very nice! You should put rollers on your desk and hook your computer into your receiver! This way you can roll your computer into the sweet stop when playing video games..
