Just ordered the Epic 80/600 ! - 03/03/06 03:15 AM
Hi,
Cant wait to receive my speakers. Almost done
setting up my home theatre
Can anyone tell me if I need to find
a 4 ohm capable amp to drive the M80ti's
or will a "160 W/Ch, Continues 6 ohm" rating
do the trick?
Also should i consider a seperate power amp
for the two front towers? My room is fairly
large and open plan.
Do they work as a post reciever amp? Do you
just slot them in?
Any recommendations on a receiver and power
amp?
This is a quote for axioms webpage,
(Note: the M80ti tower's impedance is
4 ohms. Big rooms call for a separate
power amplifier for the M80ti towers.
An A/V receiver rated to drive 4-ohm loads
without overheating or shutting down is
recommended. Call Axiom for recommended
receivers or amplifiers that will drive
the 4-ohm M80s.)
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks
