I currently have M60's powered by a NAD c270 and Rotel RC1070. I am getting some M80's for the basement rec room, and I plan on using another set of c270 and RC1070 for the M80's. All of my source components will be connected to the M80 system. I also want to connect the M80 system to the M60 system upstairs so that I can listen to the same music simultaneously on both systems.

I understand that I need to run a set of RCA cables from one of the outputs on the M80 1070 to one of the inputs on the M60 1070. I am assuming that I will have to connect the RCA cables to the "auxilary" input on the M60 system.

My question is, and I am thinking the answer to this should be obvious, is there any way to connect my TV or DVD audio to the M60 1070 if the aux input is already used? All of the other source inputs on the M60 1070 will be available, but I don't know if they are suitable for use with a TV or DVD.

You can plug any of them into any of the other inputs except phono which is strictly for a turntable.

cd,dvd, tuner, aux etc are all the same. It doesnt have to be that certain component to be plugged in there.

Well, I guess the answer wasn't obvious, at least not to me, because I was assuming that the inputs were specific to each type of source listed. I am glad I asked, and thanks for the nanswer.
