Ian, thanks for your response about my previous questions regarding the M50's & the M60's. However, here is another possibility that I'm pondering. In comparison to the M60's, would the M22's sound just as good if paired with a 150W 10" powered sub (which I already own)? Or, would you still recommend getting the M60's. Again, my room is about 20X13 and the listening area is 12ft from the front along the length of the room. I currently own Infinity RS-4's similar in design to your M40's. The M22's would obviously be less expensive, but if sound is compromised (even with a sub) than I probably would still get the M60's. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The advantage in performance from the M22s with a sub to the M60s with a sub is in the performance at higher volume levels. Since the smaller woofer in the M60s is limited in the low frequency information it receives this will represent an improved performance at higher levels.
