I have been thinking about getting a Rega P5, or something like that...

I only have maybe 2 or 3 LP's at the moment. Would be interested to see if anyone else here listens to LP's?

Many of us do. I have a Projekt Debut on my stereo setup. Love my vinyl w/ my tube monoblocks.

I've been buying on turntable labs recently. I have a few local vinyl shops, though one of my favs in San Francisco closed down last year.

Records and dvd audio are my preferred music playback media. Cd's and mp3's, not so much.

The Rega would be an excellent choice for a turntable. Mate it with a nice cartridge and set it up properly (there's a lot of info on this on the intertubes btw.) and you're good to go.

Vinyl is a labor of love, but one that pays off handsomely to those who indulge in it's archaic rituals.

16 bit cds sound blatantly inferior to well pressed vinyl played back on a decent system.
