That's the name of
this article in The Atlantic. Nice take on the history and current state of heavy metal music, with a focus on Black Sabbath and Metallica.
h/t to Juliana Hatfield for posting this on her blog.
Thanks JP
You just reminded me that Metallica tickets go onsale today for Halifax.
Panicked for a while. They just changed our addressing scheme at work here and our firewall is blocking web services that it never blocked before and I couldn't order tickets.
I considered jumping onto our management plane where we connect out to customers via VPNs for support but I figured that rockthehill.ca might stand out just a bit in the audit logs. Would have been a good test though to see if anyone really looks at them.
In the end, my brother (who ironically works for a competing ISP & Tel. Co) ordered them for me.
Interesting article though, took a few minutes to read it last night.
Whew. Dodged a bullet there, MurphShine.
Be glad to send you some, if I can find a courier that doesn't ask questions.
They water down MurphShine and call it Nitroglycerin.
Now Playing: AC/DC: T.N.T.
Just spent a week in Halifax! While there, ordered my Judas Priest tix for the ACC Toronto in November!!
Did you get your Metallica tickets for Halifax in July?
