So I noted in Windows Media Player that I have 998 albums. I bought a Jeff Healey Blues CD the other day that I haven't ripped into the system yet.

So, my next CD purchase will be number 1,000. I feel like it should be something special.

Edit:
I guess I should say, in all fairness, that this number doesn't include SACD and DVD-A discs, but I STILL feel like this next purchase should be a special one... or maybe I'm just justifying! smile

Regina is calling to you.

And how did I know that you were going to suggest Regina? grin

Deadmau5 has a new CD out too.

Pink has a new CD. Just saying.

Anniversaries bleed conformity. Don't fall for it! Consider this Blues CD as although you may not have heard of him yet, you Will.

Matt Anderson, Live from the Phoenix Theater

I'll risk a slower song from his younger days as a demo. A faster tempo might serve better to get you exited, but if you like traditional blues, this song really shows the power of his voice and the passion he always puts into his performances.

Ya, he's big and sweaty but as one reviewer said Dude sweats the Blues.

Boxcar Willie.......Not The Man I Used To Be

I think that might be the 1000th album he has sold. Nice if you two could help each other reach your milestones!!!

I ordered an SACD Hybrid of In Step. Though technically it's still not a Redbook to count as the 1,000th, so I'll still have to order something else.

Good choice though!

Murph- Great recommendation! That particular disc might be a bit pricey, but I put some of his others in my Amazon basket!

Ha. That's hilarious. I love to see those ridiculous prices when an a CD drops to just a few available Amazon resellers.
You may want to try the Canadian Amazon for that one. Only $16.00 loonies and change.

BTW, I'm still waiting to hear if you bought the new Greenday yet. Apparently Homer just didn't intimidate you at all.

I have no idea what you're talking about. I must have missed a thread as I've been in RI the last several days and only skilled stuff.

No, I haven't bought it yet. I can't help thinking I can only be disappointed after the masterful American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown.
