Would he be interested in my Adcom GFP-565 stereo preamp? Excellent condition except for minor scratches on the case top (invisible from front anyway). I am prepared to beat any Audiogon prices. The preamp has been retired since I bought the Elite 45TX receiver.

This Rotel model recently got a nice write up in Stereophile.

dh, I use the Elite for everything -- 2-channel stereo music and HT. It's a great receiver.

Ron, the power amp is the Adcom GFP-555II, a 200W/325W x 2 (into 8/4 ohms) unit, which still drives my Hales fronts. Let me know if he is interested in the pre/power amp combo.
