I JUST GOT MY M60'S ABOUT A WEEK AGO. I HAVE READ IN OTHER
FORUM NOTES THAT SOME FEEL THEY NEED A LITTLE MORE LOW END.
WITHOUT GETTING TOO LONG HERE, I DISCOVERED THAT MONSTER CABLES,M SERIES SPEAKER WIRES[BI WIRE] REALLY DO WORK! I KNOW,THEY ARE HYPE, BUT I ALREADY HAD BOUGHT THEM ANDPUT THEM ON. I KNEW ABOUT THE "BUY WIRE",AND EXPECTED LITTLE.
I THEN PUT ON MY "TEST CD", AND THE LOW END IS PERFECT! I DON'T KNOW EXACTLY HOW,BUT THEY WORKED FOR ME.

LT,
At the risk of getting pie on my face, I'll bite. Did you try connecting them using regular zip cord first?

BUT OF COURSE!

Go easy on the caps lock there, buddy.

LT,
It is referred to as the "placebo" effect.

And yes, ease up on the caps lock.

We're quick to correct, but also quick to forgive.
Welcome.

Oh i don't know about that Peter.
That thing you did to Ken 15 years ago still lingers with bitterness.

If you're referrring to his accusation that I stole his idea for a "distributed interconnected network of computers" then he was lying. I invented the internet.

You bastard!!

I invented the interweb. I invented the protocols, did all the programming, ran the cables myself, hand built the computers, etc. You just changed the name...

There is no 'we' in 'internet'.
But there certainly is a huge "i".
Posted By: James_T Re: M60 SPEAKERS - WIRES - 02/27/04 06:28 AM
Now see. I thought the internetweb was created by a couple of geeks (at the behest of DARPA at the behest of the US govt) so that they could send all the data they encrypted thanks to some guy named Waterhouse who fell in love with some Australian woman named Mary from outer Qwghlm instead of a gay german named Turing. Somehow I am sure there is a guy named Shaftoe involved as well. Maybe an Enoch too. Actually. I think Enoch created the interweb so he could find all the mercury and gold in the world.

Gee. The things you learn on a speaker forum!

Hey guys,I don't know where this is going, but I just wanted
to help out those who wanted "that extra bit of bass" from
their bi-wire type axiom's. I think the gain comes from by-passing the gold bars, and increase in wire size....Maybe someone else has noticed this?....Hey look, no more CAP LOCKS!
Posted By: pmbuko Re: M60 SPEAKERS - WIRES - 02/27/04 07:14 PM
LT61, if you search the forums for "bi-wire" you'll find we've discussed this in great detail. See this post, in particular.

LT, it just can't be.
Posted By: LT61 Re: M60 SPEAKERS - WIRES - 03/01/04 07:08 PM
Thank you all for your input. I agree that Bi-wire does not
seem to work as mfgs. would suggest. My point was that by
accident, I discovered that the Monster cables [ M Series]
boosted my bass response.....Really!
