I've got my metal brackets finally attached to the wall. There's a single bolt on the back of the M22's, but the instructions suggest wood screws as well. 4 wood screws plus the bolt seem like overkill and I don't relish the thought of screwing anything into my new speakers! How many wood screws should I use and more importantly, what length screw?

Thanks!

MasterKato,

There is no need to use wood screws into the rear baffle of an M22 if you are using the Full Metal Bracket. Unscrew the bolt from the inset nut on the M22's rear baffle, put it through the full metal bracket and screw it back into the nut inset in the rear of the M22. That's all there is to it.

Any instructions about using wood screws should be ignored. Those may be lingering from the time before we introduced the inset nut and bolt into the rear baffles of the M22s, M2s, M3s, VP100 and VP150, etc.

Regards,
