Pin connectors

Trying to figure out if the speaker wires short out if the connectors touch.

Hi OSB, I tried them and really dislike them. I like bare wire best, spades second, and banana plugs third. Bananas are the most convenient, so I use them for a lot of my speaker connections.

Thanks. I have to use bare wire because of my speaker switch but I was also looking at pin connectors. My cables are 10ga and barely fit.

Cesar, if you're having difficulty with the connection because of the size of the wire, simply trim enough strands off of the stripped end to allow it to fit easily. The overall resistance of the entire length of the wire is what counts and, within reason, the last half inch doesn't make a significant difference. It isn't analogous to a superhighway suddenly turning into 8' wide dirt road.
