Is there a gizmo that will display the signal from my Dishnet 501 before it goes to the pre amp? – and not a TV you smartass (you know who you are)

I’m running the analog signal about 50 feet from the 501 to my stereo system and I use the MX 350 / 850 RF remote to change channels. But, if I want to see what song is playing, I have to beat cheeks up to the loft where the TV is, turn the thing on and hope I made it in time to see the text bounce around the TV screen.

So, I’m thinking that there’s just got to be some simple little gadget that will go in between the 501 and the pre amp. Nothing fancy, just something that will show the text.

Mike I don't listen to the satellite TV's music only channels but I've been contemplating getting one of these Polk Audio XRt 12 Tuner for home XM satellite radio. The only thing that has kept me from doing this so far is that the unit requires a dedicated subscription and I already have one for my truck.

Thanks Rick. The look and size is exactly what I’m looking for. But, I don’t think it’ll work for what I’m trying to do. I do not see any inputs, just outputs.

I need to input the analogue output of my dish net receiver into something that will then display the text prior to my pre amp.

I’ve spent a couple hours on Google, and have come up with a big goose egg.

And XM and Sirius is not available in Alaska. Only through Satellite TV. I can’t even get all the On-star packages up here. The problem is mountain ranges and inadequate satellite coverage. I still have to use a 40” dish and I can’t get HDTV.

- but I can launch my bike off the porch.
