The M60s are on the way and my Outlaw 1070 should be right behind them. Is it safe to hook the M60s to my HTIB receiver or should I just wait for the 1070 to arrive?

I don't see why there would be any problems. M60s are not demanding.

Most likely you'll be fine, however, you don't mention the brand of your HTIB?

Definitely not a good idea. The M60s don't know how to vacuum.
