Yeah, I hear ya. Once I set everything up, that's when I started playing again. I have been playing on live, since my birthday, as my younger brother got me a 13 month subscription. Glad that he spent his money 'wisely'
I had Boston cherry 80's (which now reside in our theater along with the rest of a boston cherry setup) And I like my HG 80's so much nicer than the boston cherry, Really takes the speakers to a whole different level IMO.
I am stoked for sure. Now I am working double time to ge the theater finished. The green glue for sound isolation and drywall is what I am working on right now. Should be coming together pretty quickly. Most of the ceiling is up and the rack is being built as well. I will probably have more pictures soon. I ordered the Flagship receiver from the Pioneer Elite line. It is the vsx-84tsxi. I only have to run one HDMI cable to the projector for sll of my components. It is 140 watts x 7 which should be good for the Epic 80 system. I am using a 18" Bag End Infrasub for the low end. I have had this sub for a couple years and I always have loved it's musicality. It goes down to 8 hz as well.
zlxr8 congrats on the new purchase, the speakers are absolutely stunning, very beautiful! Good luck with your project and please do keep us posted with the progress...pictures for sure.
