I was going to purchase these speakers with the SS16 stands. My TV is 5' high, so I am concerned about the difference in height between my center (60") and front channels (20" + 16" = 36"). Will this 24" difference negatively impact the soundstage or will I be ok?

Kp, it's desirable for the tweeters on the mains and the center to be as close to the same height as possible, but the more important factor is that the tweeters point at or slightly below ear level. The 16" stand does this well for the M22s and tilting whatever speaker you plan to use for a center slightly downward from the top of the TV will do that for the center as well.

good advice from JohnK, but be careful about pointing the center down. if you point it down just a little too much, you'll muffle the sound. Experiment with it when you get the setup in place.
