Will banana plugs work well with the binding posts on Axiom speakers? I will be getting the cables from Blue Jeans.
They'll work fine for any speaker except the QSes when their are flush mounted to the wall.
But bare wire works as well, and with the wrench that Axiom includes you can get a nice firm connection.
I use Blue Jeans exclusively for my cable/wire. For my speakers I just buy a bulk amount and cut to length. Bare wire on both ends--just watch for stray strands.
Hi Bluray,
Yes, single or double banana plugs work fine on all Axiom speakers except the QS8 and QS4, if you use the supplied T-bracked wall mount. For the latter, there isn't enough room for the banana plugs. Use bare wire, which makes just as good an electrical connection.

Alan
Banana plugs definitely work with M80s, M60s, M50s, M22s, M3s.
They do NOT work with QS4s or QS8s if you use the supplied T-Mount, as there's no clearance for them up against the wall. (the QS=series is fine with banana plugs if a different mount is used to stand them off the wall a bit.
I'm unsure about the in-wall and on-wall speakers, but then, there's not much point in using banana plugs anyway in those circumstances!
I guess we were all rushing to answer you....
I use the locking type banana plugs from blue jeans cable and they work excellent on both the binding posts of my axiom speakers as well as my receiver.
The spade lugs on the other hand from Blue Jeans do not fit on the bindings posts . This is common complaint from myself that have tried them and I have read this about them not fitting the binding posts from other manufacturers as well. So they are useless.
I highly recommend the locking type if you are going with a banana termination . Worth the extra money imo. They work great.

The problem is that unless you have slack hiding in the wall, it is real hard to unscrew the bare wire hookups with one hand while holding the Q in the other, all while keeping the speaker very close to the wall. That set up is the only thing I don't like about the Qs.
Yes, I feel better now.
