Anyone out there have an A1400-2 in their two channel set-up that can offer their impressions compared to other high quality amps? I'm curious how it would compare to a mono-block set-up.

I've read a bit about the a1400-8, but not much about the 2.

They're for most intents and purposes identical; the -2 just doesn't have 3 of the boards that the -8 has. Of course, this means that (a lot) more power is available to those two amplifiers.
